MA 425 is an introduction to mathematical analysis. Students will3. Textbook:
- develop an understanding of the theory underpinning the calculus.
- develop their proof skills in one dimensional calculus.
- understand the concepts of the real number system, functions, limits, continuity, differential and integral calculus of one variable, and uniform convergence.

Homework will be worked on in groups. Thursdays will be used for class presentations with the written work turned in on Fridays.7. Determination of grades:There will be three Tests, scheduled depending on class progress.
The final is on Monday, Dec. 9 at 1:00 pm. It is a 3 hour test.
